TNIADA CODE OF ETHICS


When you see the TNIADA logo in the window of a used car dealer you can expect the following:

  1. We will have a general duty of integrity, honor, and fair dealing toward the general public.

  2. We will employ truth and accuracy in advertising and selling.

  3. We will stand by any guarantees given with the sale of a car.

  4. We will furnish every purchaser with proper documents allowing transfer of ownership from the dealer to the purchaser.

  5. We will guarantee the title of every car sold by the dealership.

  6. We will not sell former taxicabs, police cars, salvage or flood without notifying the purchaser in advance.

  7. We will comply with all city, county, state, and federal laws and shall endeavor to keep ourselves informend of those laws governing our business.

  8. We will expose or halt, wherever found, any scheme designed to deceive or defraud the used car buying public and will aid in prosecuting those guilty of such acts.

  9. We will strive constantly to improve our business methods to the end that the public will be better served.

  10. We will encourage the American system of free enterprise.
