Wendy Chester was born and raised in the neighboring state of Texas.  She first moved to Memphis Tennessee on a track and field scholarship where she worked towards earning both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in engineering from the University of Memphis.

Right out of college, Wendy began her career in the medical industry where she was a Process Engineer for a medical device manufacturer and she thoroughly enjoyed the ever-changing climate that industry had to offer.  However, as time would pass, Wendy was introduced to an opportunity in 2004 in the Automotive Aftermarket through a position with Fortune 500 and Memphis based company, AutoZone.

Wendy has relocated several times including Dallas, Atlanta, Chattanooga and recently has relocated back to the Memphis area leading a team of regional business development managers who cover half of the U.S and are passionate about collaborating with dealers and helping them thrive in a business that is competitive and demanding.

Wendy has served on several boards and advisory committees from the Association of Operations and Inventory Management to the Engineering Advisory Committee for the Herff College of Engineering at the University of Memphis.

Over the years, Wendy has networked and gotten to know many BHPH, independent and franchise dealers not only in Tennessee but in states far reaching.  She loves this business and is passionate about improving the industry.  Wendy is married to her husband John Chester and they have a set of twin girls, Ryleigh and Kyleigh.
